There is no right or Wrong Way to be Passionate or Obsessed About Something

I’ve had a lot of great talks with people lately about this exact topic.

There is a shift coming in the fitness and bodybuilding world. A shift away from “must-do’s” or “must-avoids.” Away from the dogmas of old .

It’s no longer “cool” to be hardcore at the expense of your health or relationships. But at the same time, there is no one way to be “cool.” We’re all out here just trying to ‘make it’ in life with our own challenges and situations we are overcoming.

What’s really “hardcore” is finding a way to be a well-rounded, robust badass human who is not dogmatic in their thinking and does not let the pressures of others dictate who they are or what they do.

Being a well-rounded human allows us to think critically and logically, which allows for innovation.

We need this critical thinking to move our industry forward.

You know if you are “passionate” or “obsessed” or not. Willingness to spend some arbitrary length of time on the stairmaster, go through unnecessary carb restriction, or to do a triple dropset on the hack squat doesn’t define that.

Level up your thinking. Level up your physique.
